Dinner for 2: $45-$60
If you have never been to a hibachi restaurant this is a good place for your first experience. The decor in this restaurant almost justifies the high prices that it has, but it is a great alternative to a hibachi restaurant in Manhattan (and you’ll probably get more food too).SOGO features a large sushi menu that will satisfy the most seasoned of sushi lovers. Featuring several types of rolls that you won’t find in most places. For example, the Brooklyn roll has tuna, salmon, tempura and, wait for it, mango. SOGO not only features Japanese food, but it also ventures into Thailand as well.
The Thai shrimp has that eastern spice to it that will leave your mouth-watering for more. This hip hibachi restaurant truly offers “dinner and a show” the chefs will dazzle you with their cooking skills. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time, as this place is always full during the weekends. SOGO is excellent for any kind of celebration, sushi buffs, and is perfect for date night.
